3 Overview The microscope light units are equipped with double-sided adjustable mirror, colored filters option and dark field illumination. The units comes in two different versions: The LS-12 with integrated condenser lens, and the LS-14 without lens. 4 Mounting Mount the microscope light unit under the work table. Fasten with finger screws. Connect the power cord to the socket under the table. 4/9

5 Light adjustment The microscope light can be adjusted using the buttons on the work station units. Microscope light Turn on Increase light Decrease light Switch off or and 5/9

Turn the mirror knob 180 o to switch between the two mirrors.

6 Mirror There are two different mirrors: a plane and a concave. The plane mirror is often used for high magnifications and the concave mirror is used for lower magnifications. Turn the mirror knob 180 o to switch between the two mirrors. The mirror knob can be turned and moved horisontally to adjust the light. Dark field illumination is obtained by positioning the mirror almost vertical. Filters The filter holder can be equipped with colored filters for creating different ligth effects. 6/9

7 Replacing microscope light Disconnect the unit from mains. 1 CAUTION The lamp housing and the light bulb can be extremely hot! Wait 15 minutes before touching. Loosen the finger screws 1, and pull back the 2 lamp housing. 1 Gently remove the light bulb and replace it. 4 7/9

The manufacturer expects that use of the product will be confined to trained and expert users.
