1 1. In the engine bay, remove the engine shroud (1), by first removing the four plastic scrivets (2). Issue Date Page 1

2 2. Remove the vehicle grommet (1) located on the LHS of the firewall. Note: On vehicles equipped with a turbocharger the grommet will be located just behind the top mounted intercooler. 3. Route the power input harness from the engine bay, through the grommet hole and into the vehicle cabin. 4. Remove the carpet floor cover (1). 5. Ensure the parcel shelf (2) is fully retracted. 3 6. Remove storage compartment trays (1). 7. Fold the rear seats (2) forward. 8. Remove the LHS rear seat cushion (1). 9. Remove the LHS rear scuff plate (2). 10. Remove the LHS front scuff plate (1). 11. Remove the LHS lower B pillar trim (2). Issue Date Page 3

4 For P/No: & only. 12. Following the diagram on the right, house the two power & ground input harness female terminals (4) into the mating connector (3). 13. Connect the power input harness connector (3) to the body harness mating connector. For P/No: & only. 14. In the drivers cabin, locate the electric brake controller. 15. Mount the electric brake controller mounting bracket. For P/No: only. 16. Following the diagram on the right, house the three power & ground input harness female terminals (3) into the mating connector (4). 17. Connect the power input harness connector (4) to the body harness mating connector. Issue Date Page 4

5 For P/No: & only 18. Route the body harness towards the electric brake controller mounting location. 19. Following the diagram on the right, house the body harness terminals (1) to the corresponding slot on the connector (2). 20. Insert the secondary lock (3) into the connector (2). Connect the body harness connector to the electric brake controller. 21. Route the body harness (1) from the front of the vehicle along the LHS, towards the rear of the vehicle. 22. Route the body harness (1) along the rear of the vehicle towards the tail harness connectors. For P/No: and only. 23. Locate the trailer harness (2). 24. Disconnect the trailer harness 8-way connector (2) and the tail harness 8-way mating connector (1). 25. Connect the body harness 8-way connector (3) to the trailer harness mating connector (2). 26. Connect the body harness 8-way connector (3) to the tail harness 8-way mating connector. Issue Date Page 5

6 For P/No: & only. 27. Connect the body harness 2-way female (1) connector into the 12-pin tail harness mating connector (2). Note: Any future accessories can be patched in between these two connectors. The total power rating is 30-amps. For P/No: only. 28. Connect the body harness orange & orange/white wires (1) to the positive terminal on to the vehicle battery (2). 29. Connect the body harness white wire (1) to the negative terminal on the vehicle battery (2). 30. Secure the body harness with cable ties (not supplied). For P/No: & only. 31. Connect the body harness orange wire (1) to the positive terminal on to the vehicle battery (2). 32. Connect the body harness white wire (1) to the negative terminal on the vehicle battery (2). 7 33. Test the electric brake controller function using a light board or multimeter. 34. Secure all harnesses using cable ties (not supplied). 35. Re-fit all removed parts and secure all fasteners, ensuring there are no squeaks or rattles. 36. Place instructions in glove box after fitment. Issue Date Page 7
