All obligations and liabilities assumed under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement, at our option, FOB JHawk, of defective units that are returned, carrier charges prepaid. 9 Solid Front Process Gauges with Phenolic Case The J Hawk solid front process gauges with phenolic case are widely used for petrochemical and chemical processing industries. These gauges are also applied to compressors, water treatment plants, food processing plants, power generating stations and pulsating pumps. There is a solid wall between pressure sensing element and the window. This design provides better safety for monitoring the gauges in the envent of the gauge failure. The bourdon tube has stainless steel internal parts such as bourdon tube, socket, movement and screw washers. The stainless steel sensing element is suitable for use in corrosive media and the pressure system is not subject to damage. JHawk Gauge offers liquid fillable cases. The liquid filling may be glycerin or silicone. This gauge features a filling vent. This special design lets users quickly and conveniently fill dry gauges without special tools or fixtures. Secondary stem seal, formed by an engineered interface fit of the stem through the seat, provides additional sealing integrity. Rounded, polished disc edge provides full 360 degrees concentric seating, minimum flow restriction, lower seating and unseating torques and maximum seat life. Superior, one-piece thru-shaft design proves high strength and positive disc control. Molded-in O-ring provides positive seal against standard ANSI flange faces. Replaceable seat, also serving as flange gasket, isolates stem and body parts from the line media. Self-adjusting, bi-directional stem seal, located in the upper journal, is suitable for vacuum and pressure, preventing external contamination of the stem area. Dove-tail seat retention method eliminates the need for bonding, making seat replacement easy and fast. Extra heavy edge section resists tearing. Factory testing to 110% of specified pressure rating of each valve assures drop-tight shutoff. Cast in top plates are an integral part of the body and are standardized to allow direct mounting all actuators. 24
