1 Data sheet artridge ressure switch Tye B Pressure controls B series are comact disc tye ressure switches with fixed set-oints for long-standing use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. They rovide automatic or manual reset limit rotection. The control is robust and reliable in oeration in many tyes of units with more than 100 million switches installed to date. The small size, lightness and high degree of rotection means that it can be mounted directly on the refrigeration systems. The cartridge switch is available with different ressure settings and ressure connections to suit customer requirements. All these features reduce installation costs and save sace. Deressure in Fig. AB - SPST manual reset As ressure is alied through the connection on to the diahragm, the diahragm is ushed u against the oeration shaft. When the oeration shaft rises, it ushes u the contact late, so that contacts become connected (in normally oen) or disconnected (in normally closed). As the ressure in the connection decreases, the diahragm returns to its original state, and the oeration shaft lowers, causing the contact late to return to its original osition. Secial accessories A wide variety of cartridge switches are available with oen enclosure - no electric rotection. For these switches a water-roof rubber lug has been secially designed. When the lug is installed on the switch a water-roof seal IP64 is obtained. The waterroof rubber lug is available with many different cable lengths.
