Unless otherwise specified, high-strength (grade) ( radial-line head markings) hex head bolts are used throughout assembly of this sprayer.. When placing a parts order, refer to this manual for proper part numbers and place order by PART NO., DESCRIPTION, and COLOR.. Check tightness of bolts periodically, using bolt chart as guide. Replace hardware with same grade bolt. NOTE: Unless otherwise specified, high-strength Grade hex bolts are used throughout assembly of equipment. 5 Axle and Hitch Assembly Axle and Hitch Assembly. Begin by resting frame (#) on a solid object so frame is off the ground 6 to 0.. Fasten undercarriage(#) to frame using six / x bolts (#), / flatwashers (#) and / nylon lock nuts(#).. Slide axle (#6) into carriage to desired wheel spacing (6-0 ). This should be approximately away from clamp on undercarriage (#). The wheel must be tipped in and there should be at least space between tank (full of liquid) and tire.. Secure axle using two axle mounting brackets (#) with four / x -/ bolts (#) and four / nylon lock nuts first. Now tighten the six / set screws (#0) and / jam nuts (#).. Secure jack (#) on sprayer tongue with ball lock pin (#). 6. Slide weight bar holder (#) into sprayer frame tongue. Slide four weights (#) on top of holder (#). Weights must be stood up on the short edge.. Fasten hitch (#) to hitch ring (#6) using one / x bolt (#) and one / nylon lock nut (#).. Attach hitch to tongue using three / x 6-/ pins (#) and six / x -/ cotter pins (#). NOTE: Use bolt torque chart on page for torque settings. Page

6 Rinse Tank & Hand Rail Assembly 6 Rinse Tank Optional 6 0 Rinse Tank & Hand Rail Assembly. Begin by bolting side covers (# & #) to side of frame, using eight / x -/ bolts (#), and / nylon lock nuts (#6). Lower rinse tank (#) into frame. Place top platform (#) on top of rinse tank and bolt down with five / x -/ bolts (#), / washers (#), and / nylon lock nuts (#0).. Bolt down small hand rail (#) using / x -/ bolt (#) and / nylon locknut (#0). Also fasten small hand rail (#) to large hand rail (#) using / x U-bolt (#) and / nylon locknut (#6). NOTE: Use bolt torque chart on page for torque settings.. Fasten large hand rail (#) down to top platform (#) by using two / x bolts (#) and / lock wash ers (#) from underneath the side covers (# & ). Page 6

7 Lids and Ladder Assembly Bolt front valve plate (#) and face plate (#) to sprayer frame (#) using two / x bolts (#) and / nylon locknuts (#).. Attach left and right side covers (#6 & ) to front valve plate (#) and sprayer side panels (# & ) using eight #0 UNC x / self tapping screws (#0).. Place valve lid (#) on top of front valve plate (#) and attach using #0 UNC x / self tapping screws (#0).. Now fasten pivot arm plate (#) to sprayer frame using two / x -/ bolts (#) and two / nylon lock nuts.. Attach two plastic rollers (#) to ladder (#) using two /6 x -/ slotted truss head bolts (#6). Secure ladder linkage arms (#) to pivot arm plate (#) by passing a /6 x -/ bolt (#) through /6 washer (#), long bushing (#), linkage arm (#), and pivot plate (#). Attach with /6 nylon locknut (#0).. Bolt opposite end of ladder linkage arm (#) to ladder (#) by passing /6 x / bolt (#) through /6 washer (#), eight / machine washers (#0), short bushing (#) and linkage arm (#) into ladder (#).. Mount rubber inserted ladder holder (#) onto sprayer frame (#) with two / x -/ bolts (#) and / nylon locknuts.. Fasten side valve plate (#) to sprayer frame (#) with two / x -/ bolts (#), / flatwashers (#6), and / nylon locknuts (#). NOTE: Use bolt torque chart on page for torque settings.

8 Tank, Hose Holder, Eye Wash Tank, and Wheel Assembly Figure A 0 6. Set 00 or 600 gallon tank (#) onto frame. (NOTE: square tubes on sprayer frame fit into recesses on bottom of tank.). Place straps (#) over tank (#) and weave strap through three anchors (#) as shown in Figure A. Do this on one side only. There should be about - of excess strap out of the anchor.. Insert / x bolts (#) through anchor (#), sprayer frame, and into / nylon locknuts (#). Do NOT tighten.. Now pull straps (#) through three anchors (#) on other side of sprayer. Pull straps tight so that the / x bolts (#) can be just started on the / nylon locknuts (#).. Tighten bolts evenly on both sides. Tank, Hose Holder, Eye Wash Tank, and Wheel Assembly Page 6. Now attach hose holder (#6) to sprayer tongue with two / x bolts (#) and / lockwashers (#).. Attach wheels (#) to hubs with twenty / flanged nuts (#0).. Bolt eye wash tank bracket (#) to step platform with two / x bolts (#) and two / nylon lock nuts (#). Also bolt eye wash tank bracket (#) to large hand rail using two / x U-bolts (#) and four / nylon locknuts (#).. Attach eye wash tank (#) to tank bracket (#) with four /6 x bolts (#). NOTE: Use bolt torque chart on page for torque settings.

Fasten mounting brackets (#) to frame as shown using four / x -/ bolts (#), eight flat washers (#), and nuts (#6).. Attach mounting plate (#) to brackets (#) using six /6 x bolts (#), ten flat washers (#), two lock wash ers (#), and four nuts (#).. Disassemble existing straight fitting from tee fitting in the sprayers suction line. Splice in tee fitting (#) in be tween the two and use one of the existing gaskets (#) to seal the seam. Plumb unit as shown above using items #-. Be sure to use pipe sealant on all threaded fittings. 16 HYPRO GEAR DRIVE PUMP MOUNT PARTS BREAKDOWN 0 NOTE: Make sure shield pivots freely and fits securely on stop blocks. Inspect for proper shield action frequently NOTE: For 6 PTO shaft, this distance is -/. For PTO shaft, this distance is. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Begin by bolting on the Right (#) and Left (#) Pump Mounts loosely to the tongue of sprayer using four / x -/ bolts (#) and four / locknuts HYPRO CENTRIFUGAL PUMP MOUNT PARTS LIST (#).. Attach Pump to the left and the right pump mounts (# & ) using two / x -/ bolts (#), four / flatwashers (#), and two / spring lockwashers (#). Insert two of the bolts throught the back holes of the left and right pump mounts (# & ), using two of the washers as spacers on each bolt. Thread the bolts into the holes on the bolttom fo the pump. Do not tighten these bolts at this time.. Attach the PTO shield (#) to the shield mount (#6) with two / x bolts (#), two / flatwashers (#), two pivot bushings (#), and two / nylon insert locknuts (#), make sure shield pivots freely. Now insert the PTO shield mount (#) in between the left and right pump mounts (# & ) and the pump. Secure into place using two / x -/ bolts (#) and two / spring lockwashers (#). Tighten the bolts left loose in step # and then tighten the bolts from step #.. Attach PTO shaft (#) to the pump using a / x / x -/ drive key (#0), /6 socket set screw (#), and /6 x -/ roll pin (#0).. Bolt the PTO holder (#) to the side pump mount (#) with /" x " bolts (#). Begin by bolting pump mount (#) to backing plate (#) with four / x -/ bolts (#), and four / nylon locknuts (#).. Attach pump to pump mount (#) with two / x -/ bolt (#), / flat washers (#), and / lock washers (#).. Attach PTO shaft (#) to pump using a / x / x -/ drive key (#), /6 socket set screw (#), and /6 x -/ roll pin (#). 20 SPRAYER CHECKLIST: Downtime caused by field breakdowns is costly and time consuming. Many breakdowns can be eliminated by periodic equipment maintenance. By spending time reviewing this checklist before seasonal spraying application time and following proper after-season care, you can save time and money later.! ï ï Check Before Going To The Field : WARNING: To Prevent Serious Injury Or Death Keep hands, feet, and loose clothing away from rotating parts. Wear protective clothing recommended by your chemical and fertilizer manufacturer when working with chemicals. After Season Care:. NOZZLES Check tip for excessive wear by checking for grooves in or near tip opening. Check nozzle spacing by starting at center and working outwards. Check boom for proper height.. HOSES Check all hoses for worn or soft spots. Be sure all hose clamps are tightened and hoses are not kinked or pinched. Check for leakage in any lines.. TANK Remove and clean agitator orifices. Check orifices for excessive wear by checking for grooves in or near orifice opening. Inspect fitting and grommets to insure they are in good condition.. CONTROLS Check for leakage, plugging, or wear on all valves, fittings, etc. Clean off any build up of foreign material.. PUMP Check to be sure pump turns freely. 6. FRAME Be sure all bolts are tightened.. REPLACEMENT PARTS Replace all worn or damaged parts. These recommendations relate to either amount or procedure of materials applied. If you have any questions regarding application of certain chemicals or solutions, contact your chemical supplier and follow chemical manufacturer recommendations. NOTE: It is important to wear proper safety equipment when cleaning the sprayer. See your chemical or fertilizer package for this information.. After spraying chemicals, run water mixed with cleaners through tank, pump and all hose hookups. If wettable powder dries out in the system, it is very difficult to put back into suspension and can cause malfunction, damage or injury.. When cleaned, tank should have all openings closed or covered to keep dirt from entering.. Pump should be flushed with soluble oil and pump ports plugged to keep out moisture and air.. Disassemble tips and rinse with water or cleaning solution. (Appropriate for chemical sprayed).. Clean tip opening with a wooden toothpick. Never use wire or hard object that could distort opening. 6. Dispose of all unused chemicals or solutions in a proper and ecologically sound manner.. Water rinse and dry tips before storing.. To prevent damage due to freezing temperatures, be sure to drain all strainer bowls. Furthermore, run RV Anti Freeze through the entire plumbing system to protect valves and other components.
