Cover in die cast aluminium or polypropylene. Public lighting luminaire (Easilok IP 66) for lamps of up to 125 W (Sapphire 1), 250 W (Sapphire 2) or 600 W (Sapphire 3), consisting of: -a body and cover made of painted high quality die cast injected aluminium alloy (grey polypropylene cover also available for Sapphire 1 & 2), -a simple metallic closing lever for the Sapphire 1 & 2 or a three point closing system for the Sapphire 3, - an easily-removable control gear plate, -a protector made of hardened glass -a reflector made of vacuum-metallised synthetic material for the Sapphire 1 & 2; for Sapphire 3, the reflector is made of deep drawn, polished and anodised aluminium. A reversible mounting bracket allows post top or lateral installation. A variable angle adjustment system allows the inclination of the luminaire to be adjusted on site (Sapphire 2). 3 PHOTOMETRY Vacuum-metallised, faceted reflectors The reflectors of the Sapphire 1 & 2 are made of synthetic material covered with a layer of vacuum deposited high-grade aluminium. The shape of the glass protector has been specially designed to optimise the applications in urban environments. MAINTENANCE Access to the lamp is gained by lifting the locking handle; this step simultaneously pulls out the plug and disconnects the power supply (Easilok Sapphire 1 and 2). After unclipping, the control gear plate can be easily removed along two guide rails without tools. For transport, the plate is fixed with a screw.

After putting the plug back in place by translation, a locking handle is lowered to immobilise it. The Easilok system provides the following benefits: - Guarantees tightness of the optical compartment - Disconnects the power and automatically switches off the ignitor when the plug is removed - No loose wires during maintenance - Electrical contact cannot take place unless the plug is in the correct position - Impossible to close the cover unless the locking handle has been lowered Easilok system. By lowering the locking handle, the plug is automatically positioned and immobilised, ensuring that the optical compartment is completely tight (IP 66). When the plug is removed, the power is automatically disconnected.
