1 OPTIONAL EXTRA'S SOFT START / SOFT START This is provided as an optional extra and must be requested to fit to a new or old system. It provides an adjustable slow start and slow stop to prevent slambing on gate with high inertia. A separate installation sheet can be requested from the supplier. Infra Red Beams It is advised to install these on all automated gates to protect people from being crushed. The installer has the responsibility as the last person on site to ensure that the installation is completed with the following safety warning in mind. WARNINGS FOR THE INSTALLER: TRANS BATT R12 Motor 1 1. AREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUTIONS before beginning any installations. 2. All installations, repairs and servicing of this product must be done by a suitably qualified F1 Motor 2 person. L Open 3. NEVER LET HILDREN OPERATE OR PLAY WITH THE GATE ONTROLS. 30 Gnd 4. If no time has been selected the gate will begin closing F after 5 seconds. If the gate receives another trigger while closing, it will stop and then open = 500 mm FROM HINGE again. After opening fully, it will start closing again after the selected AUTO LOSE time has elapsed. PEDESTAL D WALL MOUNT 11) AFTER SETTING ALL THE DIP SWITHES, DISONNET ALL POWER, (Battery GATE POST and Transformer) FOR 5 TO 10 SEONDS, TO RESET THE P BOARD. The motor drive shaft D, must be placed on.normally bridged on the receiver. OM Bridged in rec the diagonal line with the Tube / Pedestal facing the gate hinge. D1 =Minimum distance between wall and gate, in the open position, is 550mm. If you Infra Red Beam onnections can cut through the wall, to allow free movement of the swing arm, the minimum distance would be 410mm.
