3 CURTAINS MOTOR SELECTION CHART The following chart is a guide only. ** Refer to the hardware manufacturer for more details. When calculating the weight of a curtain the fullness ratio of the curtain must be taken into account: Weight of the curtain = fabric weight/ m² x curtain covered area x fullness ratio. How to use this selection chart Refer to the chart that corresponds to either the straight length or the curved track type required. Select the length of the curtain ( y axis). Select the required motor on the ( x axis). The maximum weight for the run using the chosen motor will be shown. If the required weight exceeds values shown on the chart the installation is not possible under those conditions. A safety factor has already been incorporated. 4 GLYDEA 5 DCT GLYDEA 5 WT Main Characteristics & Features The Glydea 5 curtain motor system is designed to quickly and quietly automate curtains with the added benefit of manual override. Glydea 5 comes in 2 versions: DCT and WT, with nearquiet operation of 4dBA. Using a Somfy patented cover neat design, the Glydea 5 system hides the cabling and protects the connectors and control modules inside the motor. Glydea 5 has a maximum capacity load of 5kg/m, and can be easily installed on all curtain types and shapes. Glydea 60e comes in 2 version: DCT and WT, with nearquiet operation of 42dBA. Using a Somfy patented cover neat design, the Glydea 60e system hides the cabling and protects the connectors and control modules inside the motor. Glydea 60e has a maximum capacity load of 60kg/m, and can be easily installed on all curtain types and shapes.a Somfy innovation, Glydea 60e is built with a Touch Motion feature, allowing users to open and close the curtain by pulling the fabric. The Lyrease mechanical system also automatically disengages the motor drive shaft for manual operation, preserving the fabric.
