X 11 Port "X" plugged in the case of internal pilot oil supply 12 Port "" External pilot oil drain, separate and at zero pressure to tank Type DEM (with max. pressure relief function) Valves of types DE and DEM are pilot operated pressure relief valves. They are used to limit the pressure in hydraulic systems. With the help of these valves, the pressure to be limited can be infinitely adjusted in dependence upon the electrical command value. These valves basically consist of a pilot control valve (1) with proportional solenoid (2) and a main valve (3) with main spool insert (4). Type DE The pressure is adjusted by means of a proportional solenoid (2) in dependence upon a command value. The pressure applied in channel acts on the bottom side of the main spool (4). t the same time, the pressure is applied to the springloaded side of the main spool (4) via the pilot line (8) that is provided with nozzles (5, 6, 7). The hydraulic force at the pilot poppet (10) acts via the valve seat (9) against the force of the proportional solenoid (2). When the hydraulic force overcomes the magnetic force, the pilot poppet (10) opens. Since the pilot oil can now drain via port (12) to the tank, a pressure differential occurs across the nozzles (5, 6), which acts on the main spool and lifts it against the force of the return spring (10). The connection between port and is opened, and the pressure cannot rise any further. Type DEM The valve is optionally available with an additional spring-loaded pilot valve (13) to provide a maximum pressure relief function (redundant pressure relief function). We generally recommend the selection of this version! When using these valves, observe the notes on page 4. Types DEE and DEME with integrated electronics (OE) In terms of function and design, these valves correspond to types DE and DEM, except for the integrated electronics. The electronics integrated in the housing (14) receives its supply and command value voltage via the cable socket (15). The command value/pressure characteristic curve is adjusted in the factory (zero point on valve seat (9) and gradient on the I max po ten tio me ter (R30) in the electronics) with narrow tolerances. The ramp time for pressure build-up and pressure reduction can be adjusted independently of each other using two potentiometers. The ramp generator generates from a command value stepchange (0 to 10 V or 10 to 0 V) a delayed rise or drop of the solenoid current. The rise time can be adjusted using potentiometer R14, the drop time of the solenoid current using potentiometer R13. The maximum ramp time of 5 s is only possible over the full command value range. In the case of minor command value changes, the ramp time shortens accordingly. The command value/solenoid current characteristic curve is adapted to the valve by the characteristic curve generator so that non-linearities in the hydraulic system are compensated for and a linear command value/pressure characteristic curve is obtained. The current regulator regulates the solenoid current independently of the solenoid coil resistance. Potentiometer R30 can be used to adjust the gradient of the command value/current characteristic curve and hence the gradient of the command value/pressure characteristic curve of the proportional pressure control valve. Potentiometer R43 can be used for adjusting the biasing current. The setting should not be changed. If required, the zero point of the command value/pressure characteristic curve can be adjusted on the valve seat. chopper amplifier forms the power stage of the electronics for controlling the proportional solenoid. It is pulse-width-modulated with a clock frequency of 300 Hz.
