2 GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS The ATOS case in the OUTDOOR range is designed specifically to withstand the most severe environmental requirements. The case provides full protection against very bad weather (rain and snow) through its high IP55 sealing level and its machined diamond-shaped roof. The cases are available in single or double skin versions. The double skin technology protects against the sun's rays and allows the outside walls to be changed around in the event of vandalism or an accident. An optional ventilation kit is available to limit temperature rises in the case if the equipment dissipates a great deal of power. The front door is fitted with a multi-point closing mechanical handle for added protection against vandalism. IK resistance level to mechanical shocks (EN 62262) = IK0. Full metal flush-mounted handle. The outside enclosure, door and roof are aluminium protected by pure polyester powder paint RAL Anti-graffiti varnish is offered as an option. The inside mechanics are in galvanised steel. The cases are fitted with four 9" inside uprights (compliant with standards CEA-30E and IEC-60297) machined in 9.5 mm squares with identification and numbering of U profiles to facilitate integration. The optional plinth is in stainless steel 304L with smooth, pure polyester paint RAL 7035 to combat corrosion. Stainless steel ensures maximum durability even if the paint is damaged during installation. RESISTANCE TO CORROSION Resistance to corrosion complies with standard ISO , corrosiveness C4, HIGH durability. Anti-graffiti varnish or a second powder coat as an option achieves class C5-M or C5-I, still with HIGH durability (> 5 years). This resistance is confirmed by salt mist tests of 960 hours (C4) and 920 hours (C5-M). APPLICATIONS Energy, Rail, Fibre optics, Videosurveillance networks, Telecommunications.

3 The case comprises an outside aluminium structure painted with RAL It is fitted with reinforced crosspieces in galvanised steel. These support the four 9" inside uprights (adjustable to 25 mm intervals) and also ensure the rigidity of the case when being lifted or fixed to the ground in the event of shocks or vibrations. Permitted load: 300 kg. Vibration-tested as per standard EN (0.5 mm from 5 to 22Hz, 0.5g from 22 to 50Hz). Shock-tested as per standard EN (0gms vertical). The roof has diamond-shaped machining to allow for water runoff, with over-roof in double skin version. The case has two doors (front and rear) with multi-point closing lock rod and linkage in stainless steel 304L Cables can pass through two independent plates on the bottom. The cable I/O plates are in 3 mm-thick aluminium with anti-corrosion coating Option: Different /2 cylinder.
