1 Bullet Resistant Doorset product profile Description These high security doors are primarily designed to protect Automated Teller Machines (ATM s) located on garage forecourts and small retail stores against intrusion and ballistic attack from handguns up to a.44 magnum. Approval This door is constructed in accordance with BS 5051 tests and results. It has been manufactured to provide resistance equivalent to threat level G2/S86 based on Soft-Point semi-jacketed flat nosed 15.6grms ammunition being fired three times from a distance of three metres. Specification Leaf Construction Double skin steel sheets folded to enclose an inert bullet resistant reinforced composite core providing a total leaf thickness of 46 mm. Frame Construction 100 mm x 50 mm x 3 mm steel frame complete with 25 mm x 50 mm x 3 mm rebate. Frame incorporates stops and anti lift-off bolts. Hinges 3 x heavy duty high load hinges. 3 S63 Security Door Burglar Protection, Class 3 product profile Description The S63 Daloc Security Door has been designed for securing external openings or internal areas where there is a high risk of physical attack to the building. The construction is extremely solid and all components are chosen to give a high level of burglar resistance. Approval This door is approved by SITAC as a class A60 fire door and the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute (SP) monitor its manufacture. Daloc S63 is tested and approved by the Swedish Theft-Prevention Association in accordance with SS , Class 3 for both inward and outward opening installation. Bullet resistance to EN 1522 Class FB4 and blast resistance to pren Class EPR1. Specification The door leaf has a rolled seam edge and consists of 5mm cold-rolled steel on the front face. The door is welded together with special security reinforcements. 7 S60 Daloc Xtra-Bas Security Door Enhanced Burglar Protection product profile Description The S60 Daloc Xtra-Bas security door has been designed for areas where strength, stability and durability are a priority. Typical applications include basements, lofts, industrial premises, multi-storey car parks and signal boxes, etc. The Daloc S60 also performs excellently as an external fire escape door. Approval The door is based on the standard S60 door, but is designed specifically for use where additional security protection is required. In-house testing has led to the design and application of steel plates to reinforce the main attack areas of the door. The door has a sound reduction index of 33 db. Specification The door leaf has a rolled seam edge and consists of 1 mm galvanised steel that is profiled, folded and glued together. Modern machinery and manufacturing methods mean that the completed door leaf has a smooth, even surface. 12 S43 Security Door Burglar Resistance, Class 3 product profile Description The S43 Daloc Security Door has been designed primarily for apartment buildings. It has a highly modern design with lipped edges on three sides (not at the bottom) and a completely smooth surface that makes it ideal for both residential and commercial premises where high durability, stability and enhanced burglar protection is required. The door can be supplied and is approved for both inward and outward opening installation. Approval The door is tested by the Swedish Theft prevention Association (SSF) and certified by Svensk Brand & Säkerhetscertifiering AB (SBSC) in accordance with SS-ENV 1627 Resistance class 3. SITAC also certify it as a fire class EI 30 and A 60 and sound class 35/40 db door. The S43 door is manufactured to strict ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Standards and is subject to monitoring by the Swedish Testing and Research Institute (SP) and SBSC. Specification The door leaf is lipped and consists of cold-rolled steel, profiled and bonded with concealed edge profiles and internal security reinforcement. The door construction and manufacturing methods are unique and the door is therefore patent-protected (European patent) ). 13 S43 Security Door Burglar Resistance, Class 3 Several different types are available: architrave on the front face, architrave on both sides or without architrave. The frame is supplied assembled and with no loose parts. Fixing via adjustable frame screws for rapid fixing and to allow adjustment after fitting. All types of Daloc security doorsets are tested for burglar protection including the frame. This means that the correctly fitted frame is an integral part of the unit certified by SBSC. Threshold The door is supplied with a rebated threshold bar in oak (E130) or stainless steel (A60). Standard Ironmongery: Multi-point FIX lock excl. cylinder (Assa round cylinder class 3 required for Resistance Class 3). The multi-point lock function means it is not possible to use lever handles with a return spring. Fixed pin hinge, galvanised. Double bolt pins to hinge edge. 16 Perforated Security Roller Shutters product profile Description These shutters are primarily designed for use by the retail industry to allow the general public to view shop window displays outside normal working hours whilst protecting the goods on display from theft. They are also ideal in internal areas where items are vulnerable to theft in office receptions, hotels and doctors surgeries. Specification Curtain and Bottom Rail The curtain is made up from a number of perforated laths formed by cold rolling pre-galvanised steel strips. The gauge varies to suit the size of the opening. A PVC or malleable iron endlock is rivetted to the ends of alternate laths and the curtain is securely bolted onto the roller. The bottom rail that strengthens the bottom of the door is formed from heavy gauge cold rolled pre-galvanised strip and this may be reinforced by hot rolled angles or box sections if required. Roller The roller, which is usually fixed behind the lintel, is for accommodating the rolled up curtain when the door is open. The roller is made from seamless mild steel tube sized to suit, according to door size. Counter Balance The fine balance of each door is achieved by tempered helical steel springs mounted on bright mild steel shafts turning on roller bearings housed within the roller. End Plates Rectangular mild steel end plates are fixed to the building and carry the weight of the roller and curtain. They are sized according to the weight and dimensions of the door. Vertical Guides Guides are formed from heavy gauge steel strip and secured to the building by rolled steel strengthening angles. Where excessive wind pressures can be determined, heavy-duty wind guides are employed Gearing and Operation Single or double reduction gear trains or chain drives are mounted on the supporting end plates and reduce the operating efforts on doors above push-up size. The gear trains or chain drives are manufactured in steel or cast iron according to the size of the door. The drive operation is by pulling an endless galvanised steel chain, or on smaller doors by push up and pull down pole.

17 Perforated Security Roller Shutters Finishes All mild steel, not galvanised, is de-scaled and painted one coat of primer to help protection during transport and fixing. This primed paintwork can be finish painted by others after fixing if required. Locking Arrangements Chain operated doors are locked by placing the pull chain into a locking cleat that is welded to the side guide. This can then be locked by the customer s own padlock. Push up operated doors, locks can be provided. Electric Operation (when quoted) Operation by a Single or Three Phase unit is available subject to door size and frequency of use. Single Phase operation is provided by a 240v AC geared motor unit house within the shutter roller. Open and Close links plus emergency wind are housed within the unit. Three Phase operation is provided by a 415v 3ph geared electric motor with a manual disconnection for hand use during emergencies. Each motor unit is complete with open and close limit switches. The starter contains up-down and emergency stop buttons plus a safety thermal cut-off switch. Our highly trained installation staff can also carry out site wiring and commissioning. N.B. Clients must provide a Three Phase isolator with neutral on the motor end of the shutter or 240vAC fused spur 1 metre from opening. Servicing and Safety All doors should be serviced regularly especially power operated doors. 19 D119 Steel Security Door product profile Description This door has been designed for use in locations where security is a prime factor. It is widely accepted by the financial industry as a fire exit security door in banks and building societies etc. Approval The D119 steel security door has been independently tested and approved for use in financial institutions, communication centres and PSA establishments. The D119 door is also 4 hour rated to BS 476 Part 8. Specification Leaf Construction 1.6 mm zintec coated steel sheet faces enclosing a 40 mm inert Rockwool insulated core, with 2 mm steel stiffeners. Total leaf thickness is 44 mm. Site delivered in grey zinc Chromate primer for immediate site painting by others. A security door-view can be fitted within the leaf if required. Frame Construction Each door leaf is pre-hung by 1.5 pairs of surelock heavy duty hinges, screwed to the leaf and welded to the 2.5 mm zintec coated pre-formed steel frame. The inherent 10 mm x 50 mm bottom cill member completing the 4 sided frame is designed for flush mounting on the floor. 10 off 10 mm rawbolts are included for fixing around the door frame. 22 Trellidor Retractable Security Grilles product profile Doors from Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions. The intelligent solution for retail and business establishments Description These grilles are primarily designed for use by the retail industry where confined headroom within a shop prevents the use of conventional security shutters. They provide the general public with maximum visibility of shop window displays outside normal working hours whilst protecting the goods on display from theft. They are also ideal for use in Doctors surgeries, Pharmacies and residential properties. Approval These grilles are manufactured under stringent quality control standards in accordance with ISO 9002 procedures and are LPCB Level 1 approved. Specification The L.P.C.B. approved, fully framed security barrier constructed with a trellis design is positively located within a securely anchored frame, suitable for expandable applications (where access is required) and fixed applications (where no access is required). Trellidor Plus is top hung to ensure smooth operation, with low friction and minimal maintenance. Frame Components Constructed from hot dipped and mill flattened galvanised steel, roll-formed to lipped channels. Edges are rolled back 180 degrees to eliminate sharp edges, increase strength in the channel and improve resistance to corrosion. When assembled the frame is connected together by means of uniquely designed components. Shoulder slides are used in the frame. Trellis Sash Constructed from hot dipped and mill flattened galvanised steel roll-formed to a U channel. Edges are rolled back 180 degrees as above. The uprights are assembled into vertically opposed pairs, rigidly connected to one another using uniquely designed connectors. The trellis links are of a similar construction and cross a minimum of three upright pairs to maintain proportional spacing at all times. Dependent upon height, the rows of such linkages will number from 1 row on smaller units to 5 rows on larger units (refer size, lock and link table). The linkage assemblies are positively riveted across their entirety for increased strength and rigidity. Trellis uprights and framed components are secured with stainless steel semi-tubular rivets to provide positive strength.

23 Trellidor Retractable Security Grilles Bottom Track Manufactured from structural grade anodised aluminium extruded to a unique shape which secures the trellis sash. The design prevents the accumulation of dirt. Top track cover plate designed to minimise access to the fixing and rolling mechanism. The lattice over the door sill, secured by stainless steel semi-tubular rivets, adds integrity to the bottom track/upright integration. Hinge Away The inclusion of a heavy duty hinge mechanism into the single or double Trellidor Plus allows the door stack to be swung away giving wider access through the reveal. Hinged Up The hinge assembly for the bottom sill enables hinging of the track up into the vertical position, thus leaving the floor area clear of any obstructions. Assembly Components These are fixed together by means of specially designed, stainless steel semi-tubular rivets. The trellis is secured into the anchor jamb and lock style using the same rivets. Coach Screws All applications are secured by Trellidor Plus s unique tamper proof coach screws. The specialised screw head can only be extracted with a Trellidor Plus drive socket. Fixing holes are reinforced with steel anchor plates. Finishes All steel components undergo a multi-stage chemical pre-treatment including phosphating prior to being powder-coated. Quality polyester powder, with ultra-violet inhibitors, is applied electrostatically.

Security Considerations Wherever possible Trellidor Plus products should be installed on the inside of the opening it is protecting, as this mode of installation enhances the integrity of the security. Maintenance As a mechanically operated unit, a minimal amount of maintenance is required to ensure ease of use and durability. Full instructions are contained in the guarantee form. The amount of maintenance will be dictated by usage, application and internal or external installation.
