4 Multi Application R-40A MXS40,52,68,80B Features Outdoor units for Multi application + With Multi B-outdoor units, it is possible to connect up to 4 indoor units of different capacities to a single outdoor unit, thereby reducing installation space and costs. + It is possible to combine different types of SPLIT indoor units as well as small SKY AIR indoor units (e.g. wall mounted, Floor standing, 60x60 cassette). + All DC-Inverter indoor units can be installed in Multi Model application. Combination with AC and NON inverter units is impossible. + All indoor units remain individually controllable and do not need to be installed at the same time or in the same room. Further units can always be added at a later stage. Moreover, the energy consumption of a Daikin Multi system can be up to 20% lower than that of a separate indoor and outdoor unit application. + Daikin outdoor units can be mounted easily on a roof or terrace or simply placed against an outside wall. Caulk pipe hole gap with putty. Wrap the insulation pipe with tape from bottom to top. Allow30cmofwork space below the ceiling surface. If there is the danger of the unit falling or overturning, fix the unit with foundation bolts, or with wire or other means. Allow space for piping and electrical servicing. If the location does not have good drainage, place the unit on a level mounting base (or a plastic pedestal). Install the outdoor unit in a level position.
