1 Pressure RELIEF VENTS PRV s SECTION 2 When it comes to pressure/vacuum protection, Girard has been putting their name and reputation on the line every day for close to 60 years. We start with only the best in raw materials that are precision machined to absolute tolerances. Our dedication to perfection has earned our company its reputation. Stainless Steel springs are heat treated and designed with a specific resistance load making them ready to go right out of the box. Springs are formed with an exact straightness while under a pressure load and a grinding process is added to ensure all springs are uniform and true. This makes for a close to perfect spring with only minor adjustments necessary during installation. O-rings are made from an industry standard PTFE encapsulated silicone construction. All Girard vents are designed to accept other manufacturers o-rings with no adverse effect on performance.
