The air/exhaust valves can be totally accessed without taking the pump apart no special tools are required. 40 THE WEIGHT OF THE ATMOSPHERE OR GAS INSIDE THE PUMP IS THE SAME AS OUTSIDE. OUT IN DISCHARGE ACTIVATION LIQUID LEVEL When the exhaust port and the well are open to atmosphere or when the exhaust line is inside the well the liquid level inside the pump to start the discharge cycle is as shown. The gas pressure inside the pump and outside the pump are the same. Only the higher liquid level outside the pump will cause it to fill to the cycle activation level

45 Common Questions Q - How deep can I install the pump A - Pumps are rated for 100 PSI so that translates to 231 ft Q After I have had the air supply turned off to the pump it seems to take a while before it starts cycling properly A With the air supply turned off the float moves to the on position allowing the liquid to fill the air line therefore air has to purge the liquid from the air supply

46 Common Questions Q Why is liquid discharging from the air exhaust line A This is normal after the air supply has been shut off. The liquid will fill the exhaust line equal to the static well level. The discharge should stop after cycles
