1 CT.EUS-134 C -UK Cylinder with Lock Series CLS ø, ø, ø, ø, ø, ø locking cylinder ideal for intermediate stops, emergency stops and drop prevention. Small switches can also be mounted.

4 Model Selection on Model Selection 1. In order that the originally determined maximum speed is not exceeded, be certain to use a speed controller and adjust it so that the transfer through the total movement distance of the load is not less than the applicable movement time. The movement time is the time that is necessary for the load to travel the total movement distance from start to finish without any intermediate stops.. In cases where the cylinder stroke and the movement distance of the load are different (double speed mechanism, etc.), use the movement distance of the load for selection purposes. Shown below is an example of the model selection procedure for an intermediate stop application (including an emergency stop in operation). Only when locking in a drop prevention application, when no kinetic energy is applied, the maximum load weight should be determined by using graphs through 7 (taking into consideration the upper limit of the load weight at a maximum speed of 1 mm/s). Select a graph based upon the load condition and operating pressure, and then find the point of intersection for the maximum speed found in Step 1 and the load weight. Select the bore size on the line above the point of intersection. Construction Principle Eccentric cam shaft Brake lever Brake piston Spring force ir pressure Locking spring Brake shoe holder Spring locking (exhaust locking) The brake piston actuated by the force of the spring turns the eccentric cam shaft via the brake lever. This turning force distorts the brake shoe holder due to the wedge effect of the cam, acting on the brake shoe and locking the piston rod by tightening on it with a large force. Unlocking occurs when air pressure is supplied to the unlocking port, causing the brake piston to counteract the force of the spring and push the brake lever back.
