The UHB series delivers efficient, uniform, high lumen output for high bay and low bay applications in industrial, retail and commercial interiors. Optional Dimming (does not have to be used) in 1 dimming function (1 1Vdc or PWM signal or resistance). Light can be dimmed to ideal brightness levels to save energy and get the light levels correct for your area. Innovative design with steel junction box on the top of the fixture makes installation very fast and easy. J-box have multiple mounting options and can be installed hook mount, surface mount or pendant mount. Junction box also provided with two 1/2" and two /" knockouts for quick wiring. 16 INSTALLATION GUIDE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: Please read all the instructions below before installation. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to the rated product voltage. The product must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and corresponding local codes. If the product is damaged, do not use it. For wet location use included wire nuts INSTALLATION STEPS 1 SUSPENDED MOUNT 1. Install the included hanging hook using 2 screw on the top of lamp body(junction box cover) as shown. 2. Place the junction box cover back and fix it with screw Safety Cable. Hang the lamp body on the ceiling hook, fix retainer spring to original position. Attach one end of the included safety cable through the hole between the fins on the luminaire. Ensure the safety cable is secured on the fixture. Secure the other end of the safety cable to the mounting structure... Open one of doors of j-box, insert power cord, connect black wire to line (hot), white wire to neutral, green to ground. If dimming required, use the provided dimming leads (Dim+ and Dim- leads). If dimming is not required, leave caps on dimming leads.. Dimmer wires Power wires. 17 ¾ PENDANT MOUNT 1. Install the supplied pendant mount plate for pole mounting using (2) supplied screws to luminaire junction box cover as shown. 2. Fix junction box cover on the pole by 2 customer supplied locknuts (one for inside the hinged splice box and one for outside the splice box). Pull supply leads into position from customer supplied conduit Safety cable. Tilt luminaire and move into place by engaging direct mount junction box cover hooks into slots on junction box. Attach one end of the included safety cable through the hole between the fins on the luminaire. Ensure the safety cable is secured on the fixture. Secure the other end of the safety cable to the mounting structure.... Make wiring connections per the Connection Diagram section ( black wire to line (hot), white wire to neutral, green to ground). If dimming required, use the provided dimming leads (Dim+ and Dim- leads). If dimming is not required, leave caps on dimming leads.. Close wiring door using provided screw. Tighten screw. 18 SURFACE MOUNT 1. Remove luminaire junction box cover from top of housing by loosening screw and slide cover off Fix it to mounting surface using designated mounting holes on top of cover using customer supplied screws.. Tilt luminaire and move into place by engaging direct mount junction box cover hooks into slots on junction box.... Make wiring connections per the Connection Diagram section ( black wire to line (hot), white wire to neutral, green to ground). If dimming required, use the provided dimming leads (Dim+ and Dim- leads). If dimming is not required, leave caps on dimming leads.. Dimmer wires Power wires.
