18 Battery-powered Pistol Grip T/X Tools Indenter and Head Replacement SRKI This procedure is separated into two sections, one for the indenter and one for the head. Indenter. Lift the latch and open the crimping head.. Remove set screw (), indenter (), and any spacers ( and ).. Lubricate indenter tangs that slide against the yoke. Reinstall spacers ( and ) and indenter ().. Close crimping head and check that latch and head are fully engaged.. Reinstall the battery and advance the indenter to full stoke. Release trigger when the sound of motor speed begins to slow down.. Measure the distance between the bottom of the indenter and head as shown below. The distance should measure. mm to.0 mm (0." to 0.0"). If the dimension is outside this range, remove set screw () and indenter (). to increase distance, remove a spacer (, ). to decrease distance, add a spacer (, ). Head.
