3 3 Introduction Dear reader, On January 1st 2011 Linido will change its name to Handicare. We have been part of the Handicare group since 2008 and believe that the time is right for us to join our colleagues who have already changed their name to Handicare. The Linido Green will be replaced with Handicare Orange in our brochures, we will put a new sign on our building and our addresses will change. But these changes are only on the outside. Our core strengths remain the same: our expert team will continue to deliver the same high quality bathroom safety solutions that you expect from them. We are pleased present our Product Guide 2011, containing the product series from Handicare. Despite the new look, we are sure this brochure will feel very familiar because our product range remains unchanged! Our core values place our focus on the user, making sure that they are the foundation of all our product developments, and these key values remain unchanged. Safety is achieved by choosing the right safety products. Linido not only offers a comprehensive choice but also guarantees that products meet stringent requirements with regard to their strength, as well as having high weight limits. You can therefore fully trust all our sanitary safety products. Practicality Our products are extensively tested for their functionality. Our designs are based on the support that the end user needs. Helping the user to rise from a toilet as well as offering the possibility to shower sitting down are good examples of this. Durability In the bathroom or in wet room environments, products are often exposed to demanding conditions, e.g. moisture, cold, heat. By chemical pre-treatment, using epoxy coating, stainless steel and plastic materials, a long lasting service life is guaranteed for the user. Ergonomics At Linido, ergonomic aspects like seat height, seat width, seat depth, seat angle and arm rest shape play an important role in the product design. Therefore we product develop from the dimensions and natural movements of the human body. For example, our grab rail Ergogrip is designed to a 60º angle instead of the traditional 90º, so hand and wrist retain a natural position while holding the Ergogrip. Design Much attention is paid to the design of our products. Where possible round shapes are used, which is advantages from a hygienic point of view while at the same time having a pleasing, modern look. 33 technical information 33 Maintenance For all products: clean with mild, non abrasive cleaners only. Rinse with clean water after use. Guarantee Two years warranty on all products, excluding the cushioned cover for shower seat (LI ) and Neoprene parts, which is one year. This guarantee is only valid for normal use of the products and use of the products without modifi cation, in their original state. All LinidoSolutions bath & safety products have the CE-mark medical equipment (class1).
