2 The MicroAire Series 1000 Power Instrument System is a unitized pneumatic small power system. The precision instruments are lightweight yet durable. The specially designed thin blades provide smooth and accurate cutting. The instruments are powered by nitrogen or compressed air and require no lubrication. The instruments and hose are steam autoclavable. MicroAire offers a full line of pneumatic accessories, such as hoses, regulators, and adapters to connect our instruments to a nitrogen tank or other compressed air source. Also, all of the Series 1000 instruments can be ordered with a choice of hose connector, to adapt to other manufacturers hoses. 3 The MicroAire 2003 Irrigator The 2003 Irrigator was designed to provide irrigation for the MicroAire Series 1000 pneumatic small surgical instruments. Compact and lightweight, the system operates from a standard 110V or 220V power source. The Irrigator is simple to use. A foot pedal activates the pump, which can deliver 2 to 60 cc of sterile water per minute to the bur, keeping it cool and clean. Dial the appropriate amount of flow by turning the knob on the control panel. Tubing for the system can be ordered in either single use, sterile packaged, disposable material or reusable, autoclaveable silicone. A variety of clips are available for attaching the system to regular and high-speed drills, and the low speed contra angle drill
