Although the strips are supplied with tape very high performance, it s advisable to strengthen the installation with staples distributed every 50 cm. 4. Sections strips can be connected one after the other, but they should never exceed the distance of 15m (10m. strips in high power LED strips). 5. The maximum distance from the converter to the strips is given by the section of the cable used, it must never exceed the 2V voltage drop in the conductor between the strip or between the LED strips and the converters section in mm2 (S) of cable required is determined by the formula: S= 2r.L.I / V where r is the resistivity ( Cu 0.017), L is the lenght in meters of the line, I the current in amperes and V the maximum allowable voltage drop.
