3 ABOUT EPAS PERFORMANCE EST OVERVIEW ELECTRIC POWER STEERING KITS Vintage vehicles have been a passion of ours for over 40 years. Ever since we developed the first kit on our 67 Mustang, we have been dedicated to our goal of providing the EPAS system to both classic and racing cars. We pride ourselves on being the leaders of quality electric power steering by constantly prototyping and testing the limits of our product. We are committed to providing our fellow vintage car enthusiasts the very best parts and accessories, bringing the ease of modern driving to the classic car. Along with an exceptional product, we offer personalized customer service with any project you may have. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff will go the extra mile to help you choose the very best product. EPAS Performance offers a variety of electronic power steering kits that provide the ease of modern steering for vintage and sports vehicles. EPAS Electric Power Steering Kits can be installed on most cars and trucks (Domestic and Imported) from the 1920s through the 1980s. They can also be mounted on race cars, such as road race cars and off-road trucks. How it works: The computer measures the amount of force on the steering wheel and amplifies it with the aid of the electric motor. A potentiometer allows you to have more or less assistance, so you can adjust the amount of power assist. For example, you can have maximum power assist on a parking lot, and less on the highway. EPAS Performance offers two different versions: 45 amp for vehicles up to 4,000 lbs 60 amp for vehicles over 4,000 lbs Benefits: Prewired for ease of install Direct bolt-on; no extra parts needed Less power and stress required from your engine Adjustable power assist Features a low 9 amp draw Engineered and assembled in the U.S. Factory calibrated Reuses OE hardware No welding required on most applications 3 EPAS PERFORMANCE EPAS PERFORMANCE 4
