2 Product Description 1. RGB Color Changing Lighting Color Changing Lighting is commonly used in medical imaging scan rooms to add patient comfort and control to the scan experience. The patient can select the appropriate lighting for their experience and incorporate the music they prefer to listen to (optional). This comfort and control has been designed to relieve anxiety from the patient, allowing faster scanning time and more accurate scans. Nova RGB lighting is designed for MRI, CT, X-ray and other imaging installations. Nova offers several different styles of RGB lighting to compliment individual project architecture. RGB can light: Non Ferrous 2 1/4 inch RGB LED can light commonly used in tile or hard lid ceilings where a cove is not designed into the ceiling. DANGER - To reduce the risk of electric shock: 1. Always turn off power to this furnishing before cleaning. WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons: 1. Turn off power to this furnishing before putting on or taking off parts. 7

8 2. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons. 3. Use this furnishing only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer. 4. Never operate this furnishing if it has damaged electrical connections, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair. 5. Do not use outdoors. 6. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered. "WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock - Connect this furnishing to a properly grounded outlet only. See Wiring Instructions." PREPARATION 1. Inspect all items. Report any damage immediately to Nova, LLC. 2. Test Dome by connecting wires from SD232 to star dome and powering up- please test before installing inside of MRI room. Turn power off after testing. 3. Fit dome in ceiling and mark mounting holes. Ensure that the mounting screws will be threading into grid. 4. Connect wiring (4 wire+ ground to RGB star dome, 2 wire to star field) from SD232 to filter, filter to star dome 5. INSTALL DOME- Hold dome in place and fasten to ceiling grid where holes were marked. 6. Power on and test. INSTALL TRIM RING 7. Slide black plastic spin clips into aluminum anchors on dome flange as follows: Insert the head of the spin clip under the anchor with the neck of the spin clip in the slot of the anchor. Rotate the spin clip to align the flats on the tip (and neck) of the spin clip with the slot in the anchor. With your thumb and finger close to the neck of the spin clip, slide the spin clip into receiver until it snaps into place in the center on the anchor. 8. Align marked circle on inside of trim ring with circle cut out in dome flange. 9. Align each spin clip with cylinder receivers on trim ring. (View from inside dome.) 10. Push trim ring up to engage spin clips. (Spin clips ratchet into place. Push under each one a couple of times to fully seat.) 11. Caulk seams. (Optional, recommended for finished look) PAINT TRIM RING AND VISIBLE PART OF SOFFIT AS DESIRED CARE OF STARDOMES TO CLEAN SUFACE OF DOME USE SOFT BRUSH AND VACUUM HOSE. HOLD THE VACUUM HOSE AWAY FROM THE SURFACE OF THE DOME AND BRUSH DEBRIS INTO IT. CAUTION DO NOT USE ANY CLEANING SOLUTIONS ON PAINTED SURFACE OF DOME. WIPING SURFACE OF DOME MAY DAMAGE FIBER OPTIC STARS. 8
