3 1. B-Pillar Brackets - This step is performed on the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. Remove the plastic seatbelt cover and nut. Remove the upper B-Pillar trim piece. You may need to loosen the lower trim piece to gain access to the screw of the upper trim piece. Remove the height-adjustment bracket (2 bolts). Place the Tufloc B-Pillar bracket behind the height-adjustment bracket and reassemble as shown below. The passenger side of the vehicle is shown. Move the seats completely forward and remove the rear nut or bolt on the outer seat rail. Place the partition inside the rear vehicle compartment. Tip the top of the partition toward the rear of the vehicle and slip the base mounting bracket into the bottom of the roll bar. Tip the cage forward and slide the strap of the base mounting bracket under the seat rail. Reinstall the nut or bolt but do not tighten yet. 4 3. B-Pillar Brackets and Filler Panels - This step is performed on the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. B-Pillar Bracket Before mounting the filler panels, the partition must be attached to the B-Pillar bracket. Line up the hole at the end of the B-Pillar bracket with the long tab on the partition and use a 5/16 x 1 flange bolt to connect the two pieces. Referring to the diagram from step three, tighten the seat rail nut or bolt. Install and tighten the set screw. Lower Filler Panel Use two 1/4 x 5/8 flange bolts to attach each lower panel. (See Figure) Side Curtain Air-bags Do not install upper filler panels (passenger or driver side) if vehicle is equipped with side curtain air bags. Upper Filler Panel: WARNING: Using too much tension to tighten the screws will crack the Lexan window. Remove the protective plastic coating from the side filler panel. Use three ¼ x 1 flange bolts to attach the window to the B-Pillar bracket. Seat Protector Panels (These are optional items that must be purchased separately) The panel should be installed on the rear side of the partition using the 5/16 x 3/4 flange bolts provided. Use six bolts for the full panel and 4 bolts for the half panel. The panel may need to be adjusted up or down to maintain proper spacing from the floor. (See Figure) 4

5 5. Maintenance TUFLOC products are designed to provide years of reliable service with minimum maintenance. Occasionally clean the windows using an anti-scratch cleaner such as NOVUS and a scratch resistant cloth. Never use ammonia, bleach or household window cleaners for the window area. This may impair visibility and is not covered under warranty. 6. Warranty TUFLOC warrants its products against defects in materials and/or workmanship for one year after purchase. This warranty is limited to replacement or repair of the product only. No other warranties are expressed or implied. Please contact the factory for warranty claims before returning any product. 7.
