Made exclusively for us by the only factory offering the required process, special hardened steel plates are made to specification in Germany then cut into snap rings with computer controlled lasers. These rings are 160% thicker and have a tremendous resistance to dishing. The radial force is also 160% greater than stock. Stock snap rings fail (two just fail in series) because end gear forces cause the weak ring to dish thus moving the ring tips together.
