2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS TOYOTA FJ CRUISER FRONT BUMPER PD-05-SP6 SAFETY TIPS. We have summarized instructions to prevent any hazardous situation that might hurt you or others.. Use your good judgement, read this entire manual before installing our product, and take your time to fully understand the process. If you need any additional information, do not hesitate to contact us. 3. Do a job safety analysis of the working area, remove any potential risk identified.. Use all the personal safety equipment: glasses, boots and gloves. Your safety is very important for us. RISK AND INJURY HAZARD. Make sure your vehicle is shut down. Set up the emergency brake and use tire blocks.. Work in a flat surface. 3. Always remove jewelry before starting to work.. Special attention to electrical cables. Insulate and protect any exposed wires. 5. Do not remove any part of the vehicle -not mentioned- in this manual. 5 INSTALLATION PROCESS. Place all the kit s elements of your TOYOTA FJ CRUISER FRONT BUMPER PD-05-SP6 by groups as described previously to simplify the installation process. All the parts required are classified; refer to the previous page for hardware description on each step of the process.. Remove from the vehicle the OEM bumper. The hardware bolts, washers and nuts removed will not be used. 3. Clean the working areas.. In case you have fog lights installed, disconnect them for future re -installation. 5. You must complete the following pre -installation steps: 5. Bumper Decorative strips: Bolt to section using hardware from section. You must bolt on six areas, align and fully adjust. 5. VPR Stickers: The two stickers provided are shown on section 9 and, remove the paper and placed on the bumper as shown on the previous diagram. 5.3 Decorative Toyota plaque: Install using hardware from section 7. Align and fully adjust on areas. 5. LED Lights: Install led lights to the bumper, using hardware from section 6. This action will be done once per side. 6. With the help of a second person, place your bumper fully assembled PD -05- SP6 against the vehicle chassis. 7. Align the bumper holes with the chassis holes, placed the bolts. To assemble: Place washer in the bolt, insert the bolt through the holes and tighten with flange nuts as described on Section. This procedure will be done times per side. Align, tight, recheck and fully tighten all bolts.. Once covered satisfactory the previous step, proceed to install the stinger (Section ). It will be positioned on the upper side of the bumper, as shown on the diagram. Use the hardware described on section, two bolts per side. Verify alignment and fully adjust. 9. Install the plaque base, using the hardware from section 5, four asse mblies per side. Verify alignment and fully adjust.
