2 Häfele reintroduces its Range of Glass Fittings from the Startec Series which includes Häfele s Glass Door Hardware Range, Saddle Plate for DCL 21 Door Closer and Glass Door Sealing Systems! 1. Häfele s Glass Door Hardware Range includes three design series - Linear, Arc and Nova. The products in each series are uniformly aligned in aesthetics and design to provide you with the most suitable combination of hinges, a lockset and a strike patch (or plate) for a given glass door application. Whether you want straight lines, or smooth curves or just a stellar looking combination, you are likely to find your best bet from within this range! This communication introduces two new glass door hinges recently added to the Linear and Arc Series respectively. 2. Installing a door closer on a frameless toughened glass door is now possible with Häfele s Saddle Plate. The saddle plate acts as a carrier for Häfele s StarTec DCL 21 Door Closer which gets attached to the plate with the help of fixing screws. The saddle plate does not require any pre-drilling on the glass; it simply clamps onto it. 3. Häfele s Range of Glass Door Sealing Systems radiates a minimalistic feel and a contemporary touch to your interiors as well as exteriors. They can be installed for DIN Left as well as DIN Right applications thereby facilitating order procurement, delivery and on-site handling and installation. DIN Right DIN Left For Glass Thicknesses from 8 to 12 mm: 8 12 mm All the fittings from this range are suitable for glass doors and panels with thicknesses ranging from 8 to 12 mm. Contemporaries in the market with similar fittings can only accommodate thicknesses up to 10 mm. For Glass Weight up to 90 kgs: Up to 90 kgs All glass door hinges (including the two newly introduced hinges) from the range are suitable for glass doors weighing up to 90 kgs (in case of a three-hinge application). This enables the possibility of installing heavy-duty glass doors especially required in case of commercial projects.
